Send A Valentine Gift

Sending A Valentine Gift Maybe Just Be The Start Of A Great Relationship ;-)

Of course, it is always difficult when there are many miles between you and your loved one and it is most difficult on Valentine’s Day. However, geography should not deter you from expressing your deep affection on this most romantic day of the year—sent a Valentine gift, actually, sent a series of Valentine gifts.

The following are step by step instructions that will show you that you and your loved one can still have an especially memorable Valentine’s Day even when distance keeps you apart:

  1. Order one dozen red roses to be delivered at your loved one’s workplace. This will surely win you major bonus points for publicly demonstrating your love.
  2. E-mail to your loved one an electronic Valentine’s Day card. This will be the most welcomed e-mail of your loved one’s workday.
  3. Send your loved one a copy of a big heart via fax and add a loving little message such as “I Love You,” “Wish You Were Here,” “Come Back to Me,” “You Are Beautiful,” etc.
  4. FedEx, UPS or mail your loved one a care package full of items that convey unmistakable love such as: chocolates, candy hearts, a framed pictures of the two of you (preferably one that your loved one has not yet seen), a beautiful love poem (your own creation is best but other’s will do as well), record songs and music that you both love and that has in the past put you both in a romantic mood. Make sure that the package arrives on Valentine’s Day.
  5. You might also send a package that contains a separately wrapped package for each day that your loved one will be spending away from you. These can be inexpensive little token gifts but be sure that each one includes its own little note of endearment.
  6. Buy a bag full of Hershey Kisses. Write little loving notes, unwrap the Hershey Kisses and wrap them up again with your notes inside. Your notes could say: “Sealed with a kiss,” “One thousand kisses for my baby,” “I love your kisses,” and so on. You can send these off to your loved one to be included in one of the other packages or separately.
  7. Surprise your loved one with a singing Valentine at the workplace. Please make sure that it is romantic but in good taste so as not to cause embarrassment among co-workers.
  8. Wake your loved one with a telephone call and start the conversation with “I dreamed about you last night because I love you so much.”
  9. Ask your loved one for a telephone date at least four or five days in advance. Schedule it for late evening of Valentine’s Day to whisper sweet nothings through the telephone lines. If you can manage to buy a couple of bottles of champagne, one to send to your loved one and one to keep, do so. Make sure it arrives on time for the two of you to toast your mutual love on your Valentine’s Day late evening telephone date.
  10. Do yourself a favor by writing a long love letter to your loved one as your last activity of Valentine’s Day when each one of you is longing for the other. Be sure to date it and sent it off the following day.
  11. If your time and finances allow it, book a flight to your loved one’s location in time to share a romantic dinner on Valentine’s Day at a high end restaurant to which you made reservation in advance.
  12. Happy Valentine’s Day.
