Valentine Postcards - Vintage, Fun Silly & Funny!

Right or wrong and whether you agree with it or not, Saint Valentine’s Day carries certain expectations. Lovers everywhere look forward to the exchanging gifts. Traditionally, red roses, heart shaped chocolates, jewelry, gift or flower baskets and sexy lingerie have been the most popular gifts for Saint Valentine’s Day but of course these are not the only options.

It is imperative to remember, however, that regardless of what you give your loved one and how much you have spend on it, and in spite of the fact that your whole heart and soul went into this gift, it will not be appreciated unless it is also accompanied by words of love, passion and tenderness. And, for some reason that is beyond my complete understanding, these words are most effective and best received when delivered in writing. Handwritten love notes are always most desirable but printed or even electronically written and delivered will do as well. The main issue here is the utmost importance of delivering words of love that can be perceived visually.

If you really want to score major points with your loved one, deliver your loving words through all available channels. Write a note, a love letter and a poem; buy a Saint Valentine’s card and add a few loving words; and create a customized electronic Saint Valentine’s postcard and forward it directly to your loved one’s e-mail address.
